Approval of the Minutes of the 25th meeting of the Conference of the Parties

• The IAI is tasked with drafting a long-term communication strategy and a long-term funding strategy, both to be presented at the next CoP.
• The IAI's financial position was strengthened as of April 30, 2017, having collected 102% of approved contributions for FY 2016/2017, totaling US$ 1,424,975, with reserves sufficient to cover 7.5 to 11 months of operations.
• The CoP elected new members to the Scientific Advisory Committee (Drs. Carlos Joly, Teresa Cavazos, Michelle Grunauer, and Antonio Magalhaes) and the Science-Policy Advisory Committee (Dr. Walter Baethgen, Dr. Brigitte Baptiste, Dr. Evelia Rivera, and Dr. Maria Netto Schneider).
