A briefing from the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) Directorate regarding the implementation of Decision XXV/21, which mandated the creation of Member Country data-sheets to track contributions and benefits.

• Following Decision XXV/21 from the 25th meeting in Bogota (2017), the IAI Directorate has published Member Country data-sheets on its website. These sheets detail monetary and in-kind contributions, IAI science projects, support for scientists and students, and scholarships.
• The IAI is reviewing the content of the data-sheets to add new categories, including publications, information on institutions, researchers, and students, as well as collaborative activities between Parties and project-related financial information. The sheets are intended to be updated annually.
• The IAI Directorate suggests transitioning the data-sheets to a database-driven system to improve the timeliness of updates, facilitate data sharing among Parties, and enable interoperability with national projects or information systems.
