The Standing Committee on Rules and Procedures (SCRP) report proposes three sets of regulatory amendments for the IAI: establishing new quorum rules for CoP meetings to avoid previous issues in Manaos, restructuring the Executive Council's (CE) meeting schedule to provide annual guidance to the Executive Directorate, and creating a mechanism to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors to maintain a three-member composition.

• The Committee suggests modifying the Executive Council (CE) operational procedures to allow for a more comprehensive meeting immediately following the CoP, enabling the CE to guide the Executive Directorate for a full year rather than the previous six-month cycle.
• Amendments are proposed to allow the IAI to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors, ensuring the Board consistently maintains three members.
