The Framework Agreement between the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) establishes a partnership to promote technical and scientific cooperation regarding the nexus of climate, environment, and health in the Americas.

• The agreement outlines cooperation on monitoring and support, including the identification of mechanisms for integrated surveillance of CEH conditions at regional, national, and sub-national levels, and providing technical support to member states through their respective networks.
• The agreement is effective for a period of 5 years starting from the date of the last signature, with provisions for amendment, extension, or termination via 60 days advance written notice.
