Action List Day 2: December 3

The Action List from the second day of the Sixteenth Meeting of the IAI Executive Council (EC) details administrative approvals, committee restructuring, and the scheduling of future meetings.

• The IAI Executive Council approved the final report from the Working Group for Increasing Country Commitment to the IAI and directed the IAI Director to carry out its recommendations, incorporating suggestions from the meeting.
• The EC approved a document titled 'An Analysis of IAI ad hoc Committees', authored by Dr. Paul Filmer of the USA, which suggests the dissolution of several committees and working groups.
• The USA is confirmed to host the Seventeenth EC Meeting and the Tenth CoP Meeting in Boulder, Colorado, scheduled for June 2-3 and 5-6, 2003, with a Science Forum on June 4. Additionally, Costa Rica's offer to host the Eighteenth Meeting in November or December 2003 was accepted, provided no country that has not previously hosted an EC meeting makes an offer.
