The document lists the action items approved during the 34th Meeting of the Executive Council of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) held on June 29, 2012, in Arlington, Virginia.

• The Executive Council (CE) elected its Board of Directors for a two-year term, appointing Carlos Ereño of Argentina as President, Maria Uhle of the USA as First Vice President, and Jorge Rucks of Uruguay as Second Vice President.

• The Executive Council mandated the Executive Director and the Brazilian delegation to create a proposal for electronic voting procedures, and tasked the Standing Committee on Rules and Procedures with amending rules regarding voting and accreditation.
