The 34th Meeting of the IAI Executive Council established its leadership for two years, approved previous action items and the current agenda, and initiated the development of electronic voting procedures and amendments to voting and accreditation rules.

• The Executive Council elected its Board of Directors for a two-year term, appointing Carlos Ereño of Argentina as President, Maria Uhle of the USA as First Vice President, and Jorge Rucks of Uruguay as Second Vice President.
• The Executive Council mandated the Executive Director and the Brazilian delegation to create a proposal for electronic voting procedures.
• The Standing Committee on Rules and Procedures was tasked with amending rules regarding voting and accreditation, with a request for input from Executive Council members.
