This document is a list of action items from the 29th Meeting of the Executive Council (CE) of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), held in Brasilia, Brazil, on June 8, 2010.

• The Executive Council (CE) established a commission to recommend candidates for the election of Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) members, consisting of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Venezuela, and the SAC president. This commission's report is scheduled for presentation during the morning session of the first day of the Conference of the Parties (CoP).
• The CE approved the statute for the Finance and Administration Committee, which is open to all countries. Brazil, Canada, the USA, and the Executive Directorate (as an ex officio member) renewed their membership in this committee.
• The Executive Director and Paul Filmer are tasked with preparing a preliminary version of a strategic plan to be distributed among CE representatives, with the SAC also participating in the process.
