• The EC reviewed and proposed specific amendments to its regulations regarding meetings, the Bureau of the Executive Council, procedures, and voting. Key proposals include that the Bureau consist of a Chair, first and second vice chairs elected for two years, and the Institute Director as Secretary, and that decisions be made normally by consensus or by a majority vote of attending Parties.
• The EC requested that the Strategic Planning Commission (SPC) increase efforts to finalize the strategic plan document and called for the creation of a space on the Twiki site for the preparation and modification of said document.
