Action List

The Action List from the Tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP) of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), held from 3-5 June 2003 in Boulder, USA, records the administrative and financial decisions made during the session. • An 'Ad Hoc Committee on Relations with Member States' was established to assist the Director in identifying policy-level contacts in Member States and advising on effective ways to approach them regarding financial and participation issues.
• The CoP defined 'basic support' as funds for day-to-day operations other than salaries and benefits, specifically including personnel, staff travel, other costs (such as capital equipment and support for EC working groups), and the Director’s Special Fund.
