• Voting for the election or removal of the Executive Director, as well as the election of members for the Executive Council and the Scientific Advisory Committee, must be conducted via secret ballot.
• The Conference of the Parties has the exclusive authority to remove the Executive Director through a secret vote requiring a two-thirds majority of the Parties.
• The Scientific Advisory Committee is composed of members elected by the CoP, with a focus on ensuring equitable geographic distribution and representation across various disciplines related to global change research.
