• The Executive Director is elected by the CoP at least six months before the current term ends. The CoP holds exclusive authority to remove the Executive Director if the functioning of the Institute requires it, following a proposal submitted to the Executive Council's Bureau 90 days in advance.
• Extraordinary Conferences may be held upon request of one or more Parties, provided there is affirmative approval from two-thirds or more of the accredited Parties present or via electronic consultation.
