Aprobación del informe de la 31a reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes

This briefing document, prepared by the Executive Directorate of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), requests the approval of the report from the 31st meeting of the Conference of the Parties during the 32nd meeting scheduled for May 22-23, 2024.

• The Executive Directorate of the IAI is tasked with preparing a Preliminary Report for each Conference of the Parties, which must include all decisions, minutes, and annexes. According to Rule 95 of the Conference of the Parties Regulations, this report must be made available for review and comment within 60 days of the conference's conclusion, with comments due within 30 days of distribution.
• Rule 96 of the Conference of the Parties Regulations requires the Executive Directorate to publish the Preliminary Report on the IAI website within 120 days of the end of the Conference of the Parties.
• Regarding the 31st meeting of the Conference of the Parties, notification IAIUYDIR/2023/24 was issued on July 27, 2023, requesting participants to provide comments on the meeting report by August 27, 2023. The Conference of the Parties is now invited to adopt a provisional decision to approve this report.
