Decisiones de la 30.a Reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes del Instituto Interamericano para la Investigación del Cambio Global

The decisions of the 30th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), held on June 14-15, 2022, cover operational budgets, administrative appointments, and the adoption of scientific and social policies.

• The Conference of the Parties approved the Operating Budget for the 2022-2023 fiscal year and the preliminary Operating Budget request for the 2023-2025 fiscal year, as well as the Independent Audit Report.
• The IAI adopted a revised Scientific Agenda and approved a Gender, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy for scientific projects and capacity development activities. The Conference of the Parties was invited to create a corresponding committee to implement this policy and report on achievements at the 31st meeting.
• The Executive Council was instructed to begin recruiting a new Executive Director for the IAI. Additionally, the Executive Directorate was tasked with establishing a steering committee to advise on the design and development of the IAI Center for Science Diplomacy.
