Approved Eleventh Meeting of the IAI Conference of the Parties June 30 and July 2, 2004 Action List

The action list from the first day of the Eleventh Meeting of the IAI Conference of the Parties (CoP) on June 30, 2004, details the election of the Bureau, agenda modifications, and the accreditation of 16 member delegations.

• The Conference of the Parties (CoP) elected a Bureau for its Eleventh meeting consisting of Agueda Menvielle from Argentina as Chair, Nuris Orihuela from Venezuela as First Vice-Chair, and Michel Béland from Canada as Second Vice-Chair.
• The CoP modified its agenda to combine the Report of the EC Chair with the approval of items from the 18th and 19th EC meetings on the second day, and changed the focus of the closed session to the IAI Director recruitment process.
• The Accreditation Committee confirmed that 16 delegations submitted official credentials to participate in the meeting: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay, USA, and Venezuela.
