Financial and Administrative Committee (FAC) Report

The FAC report details the approval of an Employee Handbook and a Project Management Manual in mid-2005, the ongoing drafting of a Contracting and Procurement Manual, and the completion of an external audit by KPMG in August 2005.

• Between June and July 2005, the FAC approved and the IAI accepted a revised Employee Handbook and a new Project Management Manual, both of which became effective on July 1, 2005.
• The FAC is currently drafting a Contracting and Procurement Manual, with a revised draft distributed for comment in July 2005.
• An external audit site visit was conducted by KPMG from August 22-26, 2005, with participation from Louis Grittani and Vanessa Richardson.
