• The programmatic review will specifically examine the IAI's transition toward a balanced scientific agenda that incorporates medical, engineering, and social sciences alongside the natural sciences.
• The evaluation process was scheduled to begin in August 2001, with the final report and recommendations expected to be completed within one year for consideration at the CoP 2002.
