• Due to budget constraints, the IAI cannot develop an independent, cutting-edge DIS system and must instead use an incremental approach. The Working Group recommends eventually migrating the system away from the IBM platform and suggests a web-based approach for projects that generate low volumes of data.
• A proposal submitted to the World Bank's infoDev program was not funded.
