This document is an agenda for the Thirteenth Meeting of the Executive Council (EC) of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), held from July 17-18, 2001, in Panama City, Panama.

• The Thirteenth Meeting of the Executive Council of the IAI, scheduled for July 17-18, 2001, in Panama City, includes reports from the EC President, the IAI Executive Direction, and the President of the Scientific Advisory Council (SAC).
• The agenda features reports from several working groups, task forces, and committees covering the IAI's external evaluation terms of reference, financial and administrative policy, the 2001-2002 operating budget, fundraising, communications, data and information systems, and rules of procedure.
• The second day of the meeting includes a special session focused on global change activities in Panama and their relationship with the IAI, as well as discussions on project suspension and termination procedures.
