El juego TD

• The TD game is a pedagogical tool designed for use in transdisciplinary training workshops to foster a shared understanding of TD practices, challenges, and opportunities through storytelling. It is intended for use by university lecturers, coordinators of new TD projects, or facilitators of networking and training programs, and can be adapted for both beginners and those familiar with the TD approach.
• The game enables participants to recognize their professional experiences as transdisciplinary science, identify how they have addressed challenges in knowledge co-production, and develop concrete strategies to ensure the success of new technological development projects.
• The game was developed by Laila Sandroni and Fany Ramos Quispe for the 2022 Science, Technology and Policy (STeP) Fellows Program Conference. Its content was derived from a technological development workshop at the June 2022 SRI Congress and an August 2022 survey of Belmont Forum project principal investigators.
• The tool underwent an iterative refinement process, being adapted for IAI TD training, the 2023 AAAS conference TD workshop, and the 2023 SRI Congress TD 101 workshop. The current version of the cards was edited by Ismet Mamnoon of Inclusive Innovation for a June 2023 IAI TD coordination workshop in Helsinki.
