Terms of Reference Solar PV Tender Management Vendor Registration

Envireo, a subsidiary of the GreenCape Sector Development Agency, is seeking to register solar PV Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) vendors to participate in a simplified and competitive procurement service for clients.

• Envireo is establishing a solar PV procurement service to assist businesses that struggle to select an EPC due to inconsistencies in quotations regarding system size, technology, financial models, and payback periods. The service aims to be objective, cost-effective, and rapid while providing insights into industry trends and regulations.
• To qualify as a partner for solar PV RFPs managed by Envireo, EPCs must demonstrate a strong record in South Africa's commercial and industrial sectors. Minimum requirements include having installed at least 5 MWp of solar PV in total, completing at least one installation larger than 250 kWp, offering turnkey or PPA solutions, and having registered a Small-Scale Embedded Generation (SSEG) solar PV system with a South African municipality.
