Covenants for this proposal include requiring portfolio companies to adopt provisions on sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (SEAH) and ensuring an independent investigative function for misconduct.
• For funding proposal FP288 (IFC Jordan), the independent Technical Advisory Panel (iTAP) and Secretariat propose conditions related to the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), specifically requiring brine plume modelling and public disclosure of the updated ESIA. Other conditions include a construction plan for a transmission line connecting a renewable energy plant to a desalination plant and annual reporting on water volumes and grid emission factors for Jordan.
• For funding proposal FP279 (WFP South Sudan), iTAP proposes a covenant requiring the accredited entity to partner with a downstream implementing partner to maximize the effectiveness of grey-green infrastructure for flood risk reduction.
