Finland's contribution to the Green Climate Fund, 2015-2018

The Republic of Finland committed a supplemental grant of EUR 34.7 million to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) in October 2015. This contribution, managed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development as interim trustee, brought Finland's total contributions to the GCF Trust Fund to EUR 35.2 million. Finland also expressed an aim for its total funding for the 2015-2018 period to reach EUR 80 million, subject to Parliamentary approval.

• Finland provided a supplemental grant contribution of EUR 34.7 million to the Green Climate Fund to support the early operationalization of the Fund.
