Updating the National Designated Authority to the Green Climate Fund of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the person of the new Minister of People's Power for Ecosocialism

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has requested the Green Climate Fund to update its National Designated Authority following the appointment of a new Minister of People's Power for Ecosocialism. The primary focal point is now Mr. Ricardo Antonio Molina Parialoza, with Ms. Alinexis Barrios serving as the secondary focal point.

• The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has appointed a new Minister of People's Power for Ecosocialism as the National Designated Authority to the Green Climate Fund, based on decree N° 5.095 (February 20, 2025) and resolution No. 003 (February 28, 2025).
• The designated focal points for the Green Climate Fund are Mr. Ricardo Antonio Molina Parialoza (Primary Focal Point Contact) and Ms. Alinexis Barrios (Secondary Focal Point Contact).
• The Venezuelan Embassy in Seoul has been designated as the point of contact for further communication between the Green Climate Fund and the National Designated Authority.
