FSD Africa Impact Report

The FSD Africa Impact Report (2022) is an executive summary detailing the organization's performance under a strategy revised in early 2021. Additionally, it granted $480,000 to the Rabo Foundation/ACORN for sustainable farming transitions.
• In response to COVID-19, FSD Africa invested nearly £15 million in five initiatives. This included a £5.3 million Emergency Jobs Protection Facility in Ethiopia that supported 24 factories, and a £7.2 million investment in the Blue Orchard Covid-19 Emerging & Frontier Markets MSME Support Fund, which helped approximately 42,900 MSMEs in countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, and Burkina Faso.
