Response to FSD Africa Supplier Prequalification Queries

This document is a briefing from FSD Africa providing responses to queries from potential suppliers regarding the prequalification and registration process for goods, services, and consultancies for the strategic period 2025-2030 (Tender Number: FSDAFRICA/PQ/2025).

• The prequalification process is open to qualified individual consultants and firms based globally, regardless of nationality.
• Applicants are permitted to apply for a maximum of three service categories per firm or applicant to ensure fairness in the process.
• While the eligibility requirements generally specify at least four years of experience in the supply of goods and services, FSD Africa encourages firms established more recently (e.g., since October 2021) to apply if they can provide evidence of previous projects.
• The application process is conducted via Microsoft 365 forms, and supporting documentation must be submitted as PDF Zipped folders.
• Successful submissions are acknowledged via an automated email, and applicants can expect a response regarding their status within 90 days.
• FSD Africa clarified that 'Laws of the Land' refers to the legal principles of the specific country where a supplier is domiciled, and that registration dates and numbers refer to the firm's certificate of incorporation and Tax/PIN ID respectively.
• FSD Africa stated that it does not currently implement construction projects, although it may review profiles that match the requirements for category FSDA/PQ/26/2025.
