Declaración de Nueva York sobre los Bosques

The New York Declaration on Forests is a collective commitment to slow, stop, and reverse global forest loss to protect biodiversity, support the 1.6 billion people dependent on forests, and limit global warming to 2°C.

• Forests are critical for human survival and environmental stability, supporting over 1.6 billion people and approximately 80% of terrestrial biodiversity, while serving as a vital tool for climate protection through natural carbon sequestration.
