The Stakeholder Toolkit, updated in March 2023 by the Forest Declaration Assessment, is a curated directory of resources, training modules, and organizational platforms designed to support Indigenous Peoples, Local Communities, and those working with them in the context of forest protection and climate governance.

• The toolkit provides a variety of training and capacity-building resources for Indigenous Peoples to engage with international bodies, including a training guide for the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP27) and a self-paced introductory course on engaging with the United Nations.
• Several digital tools are highlighted for monitoring and documenting land and environmental data, including Forest Watcher for monitoring deforestation and fires, Mapeo for documenting human rights and environmental information, and the Rights and Resources Initiative Tenure Tool for accessing data on forest tenure rights.
