Les forces israéliennes tuent des dizaines de personnes à la frontière de Gaza pendant l’inauguration de l’Ambassade des États-Unis à Jérusalem

Friends of the Earth International and Friends of the Earth Asia Pacific denounce the killing of over 60 Palestinians by Israeli forces on May 14, 2018, during the 'Great March of Return' protests. The statement highlights the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, noting that 97% of water is non-potable due to a blockade since 2006, and urges the international community to end the occupation and recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine.

• On May 14, 2018, Israeli military attacks on unarmed Palestinian protesters resulted in more than 60 deaths and over 2,800 injuries, including at least 1,350 gunshot wounds, marking the highest single-day death toll since the 2014 Gaza conflict.
• The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is described as disastrous due to an Israeli blockade implemented in 2006, with 97% of the water being non-potable.
