• The Global Campaign to Reclaim People's Sovereignty, Dismantle Corporate Power and End Impunity submitted six points as written contributions to the second session of the Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group (OEIGWG) on transnational corporations and other business enterprises in the context of human rights, held from October 24 to 28, 2016, in Geneva.
• The campaign argues that a legally binding instrument is necessary to achieve two primary goals: ending the impunity of transnational corporations (TNCs) and addressing the systemic power of these corporations, which has caused unprecedented impacts on the daily lives of affected communities.
