The TPP model failed, let’s not resurrect it

A statement by Friends of the Earth International arguing that the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) model is fundamentally flawed and should not be revived, calling instead for a complete reset of trade policy to prioritize public good over corporate interests.

• The document argues that corporate globalization has primarily benefited multinational companies and the top 1%, while resulting in negative outcomes such as unsafe factory conditions in Bangladesh, precarious employment in France, and severe pollution affecting 460 million people in China.
