En solidarité avec le peuple sri-lankais et la demande de justice

Friends of the Earth International and Friends of the Earth Asia Pacific condemn recent attacks in Sri Lanka that killed over 250 people and injured more than 500, calling for the perpetrators to be brought to justice and advocating for a society built on love, nature, and equity rather than violence and neoliberal models.

• Recent attacks in Sri Lanka resulted in more than 250 deaths and over 500 injuries in a country still recovering from more than thirty years of civil war.
• Hemantha Withanage of the Centre for Environmental Justice/Friends of the Earth Sri Lanka attributes the decline of the planet to environmental pollution, the destruction of natural resources, overconsumption, and increasing social inequalities driven by the current neoliberal model.
• Friends of the Earth International and Friends of the Earth Asia Pacific demand that those responsible for the attacks be brought to justice and call for the eradication of all forms of violence.
