COLLABORATIVE FOREST LANDSCAPE RESTORATION PROGRAM (CFLRP)

Expenditures are limited to $4,000,000 per proposal in any single fiscal year and generally cannot exceed a 10-year period, though a one-time extension of up to 10 years may be granted.
- The Secretary selects the best proposals after consulting an advisory panel of no more than 15 members. This panel must include experts in fields such as fire ecology, fire management, rural economic development, fish and wildlife ecology, and strategies for ecological adaptation to climate change.
