Together We Can and Must Stand Up for Science, Effective Climate Action, and a Better Future

Project Drawdown emphasizes the necessity of bold, science-based action to address the climate crisis. The organization focuses on identifying and freely sharing solutions with proven effectiveness and scalability, while warning against the tendency to invest in unproven schemes over ready-to-go solutions.

• Project Drawdown prioritizes climate solutions that demonstrate concrete evidence of effectiveness, scalability, competitive cost, and viable impact, which are identified through extensive research and data analysis.
• The organization adheres to a philosophy of conducting high-quality science and sharing it through accessible materials, avoiding jargon and paywalls to ensure the information is available to the world.
• There is a widespread trend across all sectors and political spectrums of investing billions of dollars in unproven climate schemes while neglecting proven, existing solutions.
