The organization highlights the integration of its 'Climate Security Plan for America' into U.S. national security planning and its role in founding the International Military Council on Climate and Security, which informed NATO's Climate Change and Security Plan of Action. CSR also notes the U.S. government's adoption of biodefense strategies echoing its recommendations and the removal of nuclear sea-launched cruise missiles from U.S. plans.
