An open letter from the WHO-Civil Society Working Group on Climate and Health Action calling on universities and educational stakeholders to integrate climate change and environmental degradation into health professional curricula to prepare the workforce for evolving global health challenges.

• The Working Group proposes four specific actions to equip health professionals: integrating climate and health competencies into all curricula and professional development; providing health perspectives to other sectors for multi-sectoral collaboration; advocating for more funding and resources for research and education; and sharing educational resources.
