• Several regional and global educational initiatives already exist, including the Caribbean Climate and Health Responders Course, a Latin American course focused on public health research, a planetary health MOOC in Brazil, and youth-led humanitarian clubs in Kiribati focusing on sexual and reproductive health during crises.
• The Global Consortium for Climate and Health Education (GCCHE), which includes over 250 medical institutions across more than 40 countries, has developed a set of 'core competencies' for all healthcare workers, endorsed by health school associations in North America and Europe.
