GREEN TAILORED DEPOSIT PRODUCT DNV GL PRE ISSUANCE VERIFICATION ASSURANCE OPINION

DNV GL has verified that Westpac Banking Corporation's Green Tailored Deposit product meets the pre-issuance requirements of the Climate Bonds Standard Version 2.1, specifically regarding Low Carbon Buildings (Commercial Buildings) and Wind Power Technical Criteria. The eligible asset portfolio as of 6 November 2018 totaled AUD 751.93 million, comprising commercial buildings and wind energy generation and transmission assets located in Australia.

• DNV GL concluded that the Westpac Green Tailored Deposit product is materially compliant with the Pre Issuance requirements of the Climate Bonds Standard Version 2.1 and the associated Technical Criteria for Wind Power and Low Carbon Commercial Buildings.
• As of 6 November 2018, the total eligible asset portfolio for the product was valued at AUD 751.93 million.
• The nominated assets for the deposit product are located in Australia and consist of commercial buildings in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, and the Australian Capital Territory, as well as wind energy generation and transmission assets in Victoria, Western Australia, and South Australia.
