• CIEL supports the IFC's decision to incorporate the assessment of potential retaliation into its contextual risk screening procedures for project finance, arguing that understanding these risks at the screening stage is essential for preventing harassment and retaliation.
• CIEL urges the IFC to use its influence to ensure that its co-financing partners and clients also adopt and act upon a zero-tolerance policy for retaliation to protect communities globally.
