NEMA Section 24G Application to Rectify Unlawful Activities: Expansion of Processing Area and New Process Water Dam at the Tormin Mine, West Coast Environmental Management Programme

• The closure phase requires the removal of all infrastructure from affected areas, ripping of disturbed footprints, redistribution of topsoil, and the capping and reseeding of the process water dam unless a future use is identified.
• The process water dam has a storage capacity exceeding 50,000 m³ and a maximum wall height of approximately 7 metres.
