The Inter-Ministerial Committee on Acid Mine Drainage

• Heavily polluted acid mine drainage is being decanted daily into groundwater systems and streams linked to the Crocodile and Vaal River systems, causing devastating environmental and community impacts, yet no tangible measures have been implemented by the mining industry or government.
