NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL

A legal notice filed on February 16, 2021, in the High Court of South Africa (Gauteng Division, Pretoria), stating that the Groundwork Trust has withdrawn its application (case number 32200/20) against the Minister of Mineral Resources & Energy and the National Energy Regulator of South Africa.

• The Groundwork Trust, acting as the Applicant, has formally withdrawn its legal application under case number 32200/20, in accordance with Rule 41(1)(a) of the Uniform Rules of Court.
• The withdrawal of the application was made with the consent of both the First Respondent (the Minister of Mineral Resources & Energy) and the Second Respondent (the National Energy Regulator of South Africa), with an agreement that all parties will cover their own costs.
