• The refusal was based on section 45 (b) of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No 2 of 2000), which allows a public body to deny access if processing the request would result in a substantial and unreasonable diversion of the body's resources.
• The Department suggested that the applicant contact the relevant companies directly to obtain the requested information.
