• To address a damaged liner at the Maturation Pond, the facility applied for a Waste Management License (WML) to construct a new pond, which will allow for the removal of the current pond's contents and replacement of the liner.
• The facility addressed non-compliances related to a 1993 waste permit by applying for a WML to close and rehabilitate the landfill site and by obtaining an Integrated Water Use License (IWUL) to manage water quality requirements.
• The Department accepted evidence that a diesel spillage from September 2009 was effectively cleaned and the affected area was appropriately rehabilitated.
