• The terms of the directive required Dipaleseng Municipality to immediately implement measures to prevent and mitigate pollution incidents, ensure treated wastewater met the Department's General Standards, and submit a detailed action plan to resolve non-compliance.
• Dipaleseng Municipality was given seven days from the receipt of the directive (3 March 2011) to respond. As of the date of the parliamentary reply,S theS the Department had received no feedback from the municipality.
