Notice of Inquiry Commencement

The Competition Bureau of Canada has commenced an inquiry into the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) following an application by the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment. The investigation focuses on whether the CGA engaged in reviewable conduct under the Competition Act through its "Fuelling Canada" advertising campaign and other public representations concerning natural gas.

• The Commissioner of Competition has launched an inquiry into the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) to investigate alleged reviewable conduct under Part VII.1 of the Competition Act.
